Rotary Foundation Group Study Exchange

What is Group Study Exchange (GSE)?

• A month-long cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for business and professional men and women in the early years of their careers.
• A business, vocational, and cultural exchange between two Rotary Districts.
• Designed to develop professional and leadership skills among young people to better prepare them to address the needs of their communities and an increasingly global economy.
• An opportunity to work for international understanding and peace.

The Rotary Study Exchange will be sponsoring a multi-discipline trip to France in April and May of 2010 for local outstanding professionals.

One Rotary club member from our part of the state to France next year as a leader of our exchange team, however the trip is not only for members of Rotary clubs.  The goal each year is to pay the expenses of four business men or women who are NOT in Rotary, so that they might bring our culture to another country and bring back something of that foreign culture to South Louisiana.
