Crowley Main Street Façade Grant Recipients
Rita Johnson, Crowley Main Street Manager announces today that Façade Restoration Grants have been awarded to Lazar J. Gielen Properties, LLC for the The Egan Hotel and W.W. Duson, Inc., for the W.W. Duson Building. The City of Crowley Main Street Façade Grant applicants competed against 29 main street communities throughout the State of Louisiana, and were awarded two Façade Grants.
The Crowley Main Street Program congratulates the recipients, and express our sincere gratitude for the other applications from Mr. and Mrs. V. Landry for The Culpepper Building, Mr. and Mrs. E. DeVille for Leleux’s Appliances, Mr. and Mrs. P. John for The Crowley Ballroom and Mr. and Mrs. C. Credeur for The Acadia Theatre.
The façade grants that were awarded are to be completed by April 2009, which will be a beautiful addition to our Historic North Parkerson Redevelopment Project. We want you to know that although we are undergoing construction, our Main Street Businesses are all in operation. We ask that you “Pardon our mess, it’s Progress!”
