MAIN STREET ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS

The City of Crowley Main Street Organization Committee met on Thursday, July 17, 2008 to welcome new members to the committee and to discuss plans for the remaining part of the year. The committee is making plans for their first fundraiser this year which will be a Bar-B-Q Hamburger sale during the Kids Day Out event which is scheduled to be held during the month of September.
The purpose of this committee is to involve all residents of Crowley in the Main Street Program by increasing awareness and support of the program. Their involvement includes recruiting new members for the program, a yearly membership drive and fundraisers.
