Estherwood Elementary 2nd Grader, Layne Oestriecher, shadows Mayor Monceaux as “Mayor for a Day”

At Crowley City Hall, Mayor Chad Monceaux greeted “Mayor for a Day” Layne Oestriecher on Friday, March 11, 2022. 

“Mayor Oestriecher” is the son of Allyson and Bo Oestriecher, the 2021-22 Rice Festival Jr. King, and a 2nd grader at Estherwood Elementary.  He is shadowing Mayor Monceaux for the day and learning about some of the responsibilities of a mayor.
