MOSQUITO SPRAYING IN CROWLEY

Crowley, LA – Today, Mayor Chad Monceaux issued the following statement:

“To address the mosquito invasion of Crowley due to Hurricane Laura, I have instructed the Public Works Department to spray the entire city every night.  The spraying takes approximately 7 – ½ hours (7:30 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.).  The City of Crowley and the Parish of Acadia are working together to perform an aerial spraying for mosquitoes later this week.  Specifics are not known at this time.  While mosquito season is in full force, when you are outside, please remember to wear long sleeves and long pants and use a mosquito repellant.”
