PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Crowley, Louisiana will be held in the City Court Room at the Criminal Justice Building, 426 North Avenue F (5th Street entrance), on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 5:15 p.m. to consider the following:

  1. Public Hearing on Application for Rezoning from R-1 to I-1 of an 11.21-acre tract located in Section 5, Township 10 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, and a 29.68-acre tract situated in Sections 5 and 8, Township 10 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, as shown on the Plat of Survey for Colby Pommier et al, showing a 41.605-acre tract of land situated in Sections 5 and 8, Township 10 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, prepared by A Hebert Land Surveying dated June 22, 2021 owned by Colby Pommier, et al.

The Public is invited to attend and comment on the application described above. You may submit written comments to the Zoning and Planning Administrator for inclusion into the public record. Written comment may be submitted to the Planning and Zoning Administrator, P.O. Box 1463, Crowley, LA 70527 or at Crowley City Hall, 425 North Parkerson Avenue, Crowley, LA.

If you wish to challenge the proposed annexation and/or zoning changes of the above-described property in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered at or prior to the public hearing.
